
Pastor David Owen Filson is married to Diane, and together they are the grateful parents of Luke Owen (age 4½) and Lydia Gwenyth (21 months). David is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America, a member of the Nashville Presbytery, and chairman of its Leadership Development Committee. He received his M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, and is currently working toward a Ph.D. in Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia. He has served as a guest lecturer at Covenant Theological Seminary, as well as, an adjunct professor in their ACCESS program here in Nashville. David enjoys playing guitar, reading, building his library, U.S. Border Cantina in Bellevue (Mexican), Fortell's Pizza in St. Louis, haunting Toys-R-Us with his children, and playing with the Filson dogs, Cassie and Poundcake. He also has an extensive collection of Chewbacca action figures.
